Isaac Barmor

About The Author

Isaac Barmor’s life has been defined by curiosity, creativity, and a dedication to learning. He began his career as a high school teacher and executive director of Jewish religious schools, inspiring generations with his passion for language, literature, and faith. From there, he transitioned into the business world, bringing his signature creativity to client relations through humor-filled jingles and memorable interactions.

Alongside these endeavors, Isaac pursued academic excellence, teaching Hebrew literature at Case Western Reserve University, advanced Hebrew grammar at the Cleveland College of Jewish Studies, and conversational Hebrew at Kent State University, where he earned his Ph.D. in English Literature. A prolific writer, he has published short stories, literary essays in Hebrew, and satirical verses in the Israeli newspaper Sports News.

For nearly two decades, Isaac has also led weekly Bible studies with a small circle of friends, completing the entire Old Testament and returning again to Genesis: a testament to his deep engagement with scripture and reflection on the human and divine journey.

Now, after years of dedication, Isaac has embarked on his third career: novelist. With the publication of his biblical novel, The Prophet and the Raven, he invites readers to explore profound themes of faith, courage, and divine providence through elevated, poetic storytelling.
